About Our Restaurant
Toreros Mexican Restaurant, initially established in 1994, has had a journey filled with determination and resilience. Though faced with unforeseen circumstances that led to a temporary closure, our unwavering commitment and relentless efforts enabled us to finally reopen our doors. Today, we are proud to welcome you to our brand new location situated at 604 Fernway Ave, Durham, NC 27701.

CISCOS FAVORITO
Chicken Milanesa, Pollo Fundido, and Chile Relleno- Poblano chile stuffed with Monterrey Jack cheese. Served with rice and beans and garnish with avocado and pico de gallo.
FAJITA NACHOS
Crispy cheese nachos with choice of fajita meat (chicken or steak). Served with tomatoes, green onions, sour cream and guacamole. Jalapenos available upon request.
MOJARRA
Whole Tilapia fish marinated with garlic, salt and lemon, then fried. Served with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and avocado slices. Choice of corn or flour tortillas.

It's my favorite Mexican joint. I can't find any other like it. I drive 57 minutes to go to the one in cary because I moved and it's none where I'm at and the mexican restaurant here in my area isn't no where near as good as torero.
By far the best authentic flavorful food. Portions are great for the money you pay. Service is fantastic ! Very clean!
The location is updated on the directions. The food is amazing, I haven’t had authentic Mexican food for some time. The waiters are a pleasure. I definitely recommended especially if you want to support a small business.
